Getting to the venue from the airport

Dublin Bus, operates 24- hour service

  • Route 41, operates 24 hours
  • Stopping at Irish Life, Dublin City (16 min walk to CCD)
  • Possible change to line G1, stopping at Beckett Bridge, Docklands (2 min walk to CCD)

Taxis

  • Taxis are available directly outside the door when you exit the terminals. They can also be booked via the FreeNow taxi App on iOS and Android.

Please note that while the official travel time from the airport to the Convention Centre is around 20 minutes, daytime traffic can extend it to 1 hour. Plan accordingly to avoid delays.

Getting to the venue from around the city

Bus (Dublin Bus, Bus Éireann, Go-Ahead Ireland, TFI Local Link)

  • There are several bus operators within the TFI public transport network.
  • Dublin Bus offers a high frequency, easy-to-use and accessible service across all of the city centre and surrounding areas.
  • Busáras (12 min walk from CCD) is the central bus station in Dublin for intercity and regional bus services operated by Bus Éireann.
  • Bus stops near CCD include: Convention Centre, Beckett Bridge, North Wall Quay, etc.

Tram (LUAS)

  • Dublin’s light rail transit system (Luas). There are two lines, the Green Line and the Red Line. The CCD is on the Red Line, conveniently linking to downtown Dublin and Connolly and Heuston rail stations.
  • Nearest stop Mayors Square – NCI (Red Line) is located only 6-minute walk from The CCD

Rail and DART (Dublin Area Rapid Transit)

  • The DART rail network runs along the coast of Dublin, from Malahide and Howth, to Bray and Graystones, providing transport from the city centre to suburban areas.
  • Connolly, Pearse Street and Tara Street DART stations are all located about 10-minute walk from The CCD.

Taxi

Walking

  • The CCD’s city centre location makes it quick and easy to reach by foot from popular landmarks or districts. We encourage delegates to walk as it reduces your carbon footprint and is a great way to incorporate physical activity before and after your conference.

Cycling

  • Dublin offers bike-sharing services, and cycling can be a quick and environmentally friendly way to travel within the city.
  • Check out Dublin Bikes for information on bike stations and routes.

Parking at CCD

  • There is a public underground car park located at the rear of the building.
  • Costs: €4.00 per hour, €30 for the day. Evening and pre-booking rates are also available. You can find more information on parking here.
